People set the trap before they know how the rodent got in. We get it — once the scratching stops and the trap goes off, it feels like you solved the problem. But catching it only handles the rodent that’s there right now.
That’s why we approach rodent control in this order:
1. TRACK — Find the entry point and understand the route they’re using.
2. SEAL — Close off that route with the right physical barrier.
3. CATCH — Once the entry point is secured, deal with the rodents already inside.
4. CLEAN — Once the activity is under control, address the urine, waste, residue, and odor left behind. Cleaning may be a separate charge depending on the severity.
That’s the Rodent Free approach: find the route, seal it, catch what’s left, clean up after.
Roof rats, Norway rats, and house mice use different routes: rooflines, utility penetrations, garage doors, floor drains, and overgrown perimeters. We look for droppings, gnaw marks, grease rubs, and burrows, then use the right tools for what we find — snap traps, food or liquid bait, and where it fits, Rat Vac capture — always after (or alongside) sealing so the population can’t keep replenishing.
